According to the official notification, WBPRB has released a total of 8419 Constable post for the year 2019. Out of the total 8419 vacancies, 4620 posts are unreserved and rest 3799 are reserved for SC/ST and OBC category candidates.
As per the official notification, Interested candidate for WB Police Recruitment 2019 must have passed Madhyamik Exam for WB Board. Whereas the candidates must fall under the age limit of 18-27 years as on 1 January 2019. Although age relaxation has been given to reserved category candidates according to Government slab. Also, the interested candidates for the same must able to read, speak and write the Bengali language.
