Xiaomi has started rolling out the Android Oreo Update for its Android One smartphone Xiaomi Mi A1. The Android Oreo 8.0 update for Mi A1 smartphone has now started. To recall the company launched the Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone in the month of September and it is the phone that was launched with Android One Programme of Google.
Android Oreo Update for Xiaomi Mi A1
The phone was launched with Android Nougat 7.1.2 version and now the users of Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone will get the Android Oreo 8.0 update. The update of Android Oreo for the phone has started from December 31st.
According to the official post on MIUI Forums of Xiaomi, the users of Mi A1 smartphone will first have to install the 7.12.19 software of Android Nougat on their phone. After installing the software on the phone, users will get the OTA update for the latest Android Oreo OS. The update of Android Oreo comes with a size of 1107.4MB and the update include Security patch with new features.

The latest update of Android Oreo for Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone brings some new features to the phone, for example, new notification dots, Autofill options, Picture-in-picture mode and smart selection. The phone comes with Android Nougat OS but now the phone has started receiving the Android Oreo update.
