Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Gets a Price Cut in India | Available Now For Rs. 13,999 – Check Details

Xiaomi India has announced a permanent price cut on their immensely popular phone Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and it is now available at just 13,999 Indian Rupees as opposed to the earlier 14,999 Rupees. The move was confirmed by Xiaomi India’s MD Manu Jain that the company has slashed a full 1,000 Rupees off from the original price of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2.

The price cut is available on both the 32GB and 64GB versions in India. The 64GB version now costs 15,999 and the 32GB version can be had for 13,999 Indian Rupees. Additionally, if you buy the phone from Flipkart (popular e-commerce website in India), you can avail 5% extra discount on Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card. The exchange and buyback offer are also available on the Xiaomi Mi Max 2.

Features of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2:

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is the second iteration of the Mi Max series which come with huge displays. The display is a 6.44 inches IPS LCD with 16:9 ratio with a full HD resolution. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor takes care of the work on the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 while the memory options include 32/64/128 GB with 4GB of RAM.

There is a 12 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture on the back while the front camera is a 5 MP f/2.0 unit. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has one of the largest batteries in a smartphone at 5300mAh which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. USB Type-C and stereo speakers are also part of the deal.

Competition of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 in India:

Xiaomi India has been going strong in the country with some extraordinary prices. With the price suts on Redmi note 4 and now even on the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, the company is ensuring that it stays on top of the sales chart. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 competes against the Motorola Moto G5 and G5 Plus and Samsung J series of smartphones.

Since the Xiaomi Mi Max has a larger screen real estate we don’t think they can rival the phone even if they are priced quite similarly. The Samsung J series come with front-facing flash in some models but if the screen size is of any importance to you, blindly buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2.
