Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Brings AI to TVs As Well | Pre Orders Go Live

There is no word on the India launch of the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S as of now

Xiaomi Mi TVs have taken the other manufacturers by a surprise and it looks like the Chinese manufacturer does not intend to stop there. After offering its lineup of Mi TVs with unique features like a patchwall interface, now the company intends to bring AI competition to the TV world as well. Apparently the company has launched its new Xiaomi Mi TV with an AI remote which works with Xiaomi’s own version of Assistant that can help you with voice commands.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4S With AI Remote

Xiaomi Mi TV 4S is the first device in the company’s TV lineup that comes with an AI remote. This AI remote can take voice commands like Siri and Google Assistant on Apple and Android devices respectively and can take an action accordingly. This eliminates the need to find the exact buttons to communicate with your TV especially when it’s dark. We believe that Xiomi Mi TV 4S will be a hit among the older generation who will find it easier than to navigate through TVs menu.

With the AI remote of the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S you can tell the TV to turn off power after a set period of time which comes in handy if you feel like you’re going to doze off soon. Alternatively you can command the Xiaomi assistant with the AI remote to skip the video playback by say 56 seconds and the video will be fast forwarded for you immediately. The AI remote on the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S is going to be the perfect thing for you if you are someone who uses Siri, Google Assistant or Alexa regularly.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Price and Launch Date

Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Preorders are live in China already and the deliveries are expected to start April 3. The TV is priced at CNY 2,999 which roughly translates to 31,000 Rupees. However, there is no word if the TV will be available in India or other parts of the world. Xiaomi currently sells three TVs in India which are available via the traditional flash sale process. The prices of these TVs start from 14,000-40,000 Rupees in India.
