Xiaomi has slashed the price of Redmi 6A smartphone. The company last month hiked the prices of Redmi 6A smartphone along with the Redmi 6 phone. The price of these smartphones was hiked by up to Rs 600. The hike in the price of Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A was due to the depreciation of Rupee. But now, the smartphone maker has changed the price of the phone to the old one. Here are the details.
Price Cut on Xiaomi Redmi 6A
Xiaomi Redmi 6A smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 600 and Rs 500. The 2GB RAM with 16Gb storage variant of the phone is now available at a price of Rs 5999 while the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage variant is now priced at Rs 6999. Last month, the price of Redmi 6A smartphone 16GB variant was hiked to Rs 6599 and Rs 7499 for the 32GB storage variant. But now after the price cut, the smartphone is available at the original price.
Last month along with the Redmi 6A smartphone, the company also increased the price of Redmi 6 up to Rs 600. Recently Xiaomi has announced a price cut on Xiaomi Poco F. The smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 1000 on all variants.
Xiaomi Redmi 6A Specifications
Redmi 6A smartphone is dual sim budget 4g smartphone that runs on Android Oreo 8.1 Operating system with MIUI 9.6 out of the box. The smartphone has a 5.45-inches display with a screen resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The aspect ratio of the screen is 18:9. The phone has a MediaTek Helio A22 processor. There is a 2GB RAM on the phone while internal storage is 16GB/32GB.
Moving to the camera specifications of the phone, there is a 13MP camera at the back on the phone with LED flash. There is a 5MP sensor on the front for the selfies and video calling. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro-USB. There is no fingerprint sensor on the phone and the battery of the Redmi 6A smartphone is 300mAh. There is a dedicated microSD card slot in the phone with which the internal storage is expandable up to 256GB.
