Xiaomi Redmi 6A price is CNY 599 which is roughly equal to Rs.6,300. The company has launched the phone in China in a single variant. The phone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Moving to the Redmi 5A, the phone was launched last year in two variants. The price of 2GB RAM variant of Redmi 5A is Rs.5,999 and the price of 3GB RAM variant of Redmi 5A is Rs.6,999.

In terms of RAM and Storage, Xiaomi Redmi 5A has 2GB RAM with 16GB Storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. The latest one was launched with only 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The internal storage of the phones can be expanded further via microSD card slot. Maybe Xiaomi will launch two variants of Redmi 6A in India.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A comes with a 5.45-inches display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 while the Redmi 5A has a 5-inch display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. Secondly, the biggest difference is the operating system. The newly launched Redmi 6A runs on Android Oreo operating system while the Redmi 5A runs on Android Nougat.
Talking about the camera specifications, Xiaomi Redmi 5A has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on the front.
