Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition – India Launch Set For August | Here’s What You Need to Know

Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition: Yamaha will soon launch the R15 MotoGP Edition in India. According to the reports, Yamaha will bring the Yamaha YZF R15 MotoGP Edition Verison 3.0 in India in the month of August. However, the exact date is not clear but it will be launched anytime in August. The MotoGP Edition of the Yamaha R15 V3.0 is already available to purchase in the south-east Asian Markets.

The new Yamaha R15 MotoGP edition will have Movistar Logo on the sides and front of the motorcycle. On the belly pan, there is ENEOS logo. The new motorbike comes will come with the blue paint scheme. There are no mechanical changes on the bike and the MotoGP edition comes only with some cosmetic changes.

Engine Specifications: The Yamaha R15 MotoGP Edition comes with a 155cc, 4 strokes single cylinder engine. The engine produces a 15Nm of torque and a 19bhp. The bike comes with LED headlamps, fully digital instrument cluster and slipper clutch. The Indian variant will get standard telescopic front forks while the international variant comes with USD front forks.

Yamaha R15 V3.0 was launched in Auto Expo 2018 which was held in February. The standard bike comes with Racing Blue and Thunder Grey Colours. The price of Yamaha R15 V3.0 STD in India Startes at Rs.1.33 Lakh (on-road price). Rhe bike comes with self-start mechanism with 6-speed transmission. The fuel tank in the Yamaha R15 V3.0 STD is 11 Litre and the bikes give a mileage of 30 kmpl. The reserve fuel tank capacity of the bike is 1.1 Litre.

The bike comes with 155cc engine with 19 bhp maximum power and 15 Nm maximum torque. The bike comes with Hydraulic Single Brake at front and rear. There are LED headlight and LED and Tail light. The curb Weight if the bike is 139 Kg and height is 1135 mm. The wheel size is 17 inches and wheel type is Alloy Wheels. The bike comes with digital Speedometer and Tachometer. The key features on the bike include USB Charging option, Low Oil Indicator, and Fuel Warning Indicator.
