Yuvraj Singh Clears Yo-Yo Fitness Test | Likely To Play Till 2019

The Indian all-rounder cricketer Yuvraj Singh has cleared the Yo-Yo fitness test set by the team management. Yuvraj Singh decided to undergo the Fitness training at the National Cricket Academy rather than playing the Ranji Trophy matches. Yuvraj Singh said just after clearing the test that he won’t give up on his career till the 2019 world cup.

Yuvraj Singh See Himself Playing till 2019

Yuvraj Singh said that he is playing and He will play till 2019. Singh also told that he is working harder than before as he is getting older. Yuvraj Singh said during an interactive session that he sees himself playing cricket still 2019 and will definitely take a call beyond that. As per the reports, Yuvraj Singh failed to clear the Yo-Yo fitness test in October and decided not to play four out of five Ranji Trophy matches to get back his fitness

In the Yo-Yo fitness, two lines of cones are created by placing them 20 meters apart. The test takers have to run between the lines as soon as the beep starts and turn when the beep becomes silent. The speed of the beep is increased after every minute and players are required to keep pace with the beep. Players who fail to make the line in time have to do it with more beeps. The BCCI has set a score of 16.1 as a benchmark to clear the test.

Yuvraj Singh Qualifies Yo Yo Fitness Test

Yuvraj Singh who played for the last time in India colors this year said that “I am failing and I still fail”. He told that he failed thrice in the fitness tests but finally he had qualified the fitness test now. Further, he added that he will take his career decisions on his own.

He told that he had seen failures in his life and he is not afraid of defeat as it is the failure that leads you to success. Yuvraj believes that you need to fail in order to be successful in life because you learn from your defeats. Yuvraj Singh said that he doesn’t know how many people believe in himself but he still believes in himself.

Yuvraj played a vital role in India’s win of 2011 world cup but now he is struggling to keep his place in the team for 2019 world cup. Yuvraj has played 304 ODIs 40 Tests & 58 T20s in his cricket career of 17 years. We expect him to play for India in the 2019 world cup.
