CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) might introduce two levels in Class 10th Maths 2019 Board Exam. Central Board of Secondary Education is the conducting body of the Class 10th board exams every year. The board is considering to bring in some changes to the mode of conduct of CBSE Class 10th Maths 2019 Board Exam. All set to consider to conduct the Mathematics exam at two levels, Standard and Higher, read on to know more details on the subject.

Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to hold the Mathematics Class 10th board exam 2019 at two levels as a proposed change. CBSE is considering this proposal to launch as a test run for the year 2019 and check the response. CBSE is trying to bring all the students at par with the Mathematics subject. This will justify a students’ ability based on his choice.

The students will have a choice while choosing their subjects for Class 10th before taking the exams. The choice will be given to ensure that students who do not wish to pursue their higher studies in Mathematics need not worry about scoring less marks in the test. Also, students who wish to take up Maths in their higher education would justify their intellect based on appearing for a different level of CBSE Class 10th Maths 2019 Board Exam.

CBSE Class 10th Maths 2019 Board Exam Levels, Standard & Higher | What’s The Difference

The students who wish to take Maths in their higher education will choose CBSE Class 10th Maths 2019 Board Exam – Higher Level and vice versa. The higher level of the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 10th Maths 2019 Board Exam shall have more questions from applied mathematics. This shall also include HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) type questions.

The syllabus from which the questions would be asked shall remain same. That’s right, no change in CBSE Class 10th Maths 2019 Board Exam syllabus, yet different question papers. The two different question papers shall comprise of different levels of difficulty. There will be different levels of questions from the same chapter. This implies, candidates can choose to appear for a simpler set of questions from the same syllabus.

The officials at the Central Board of Secondary Education are considering this to start as a pilot project from the year 2019. If this works well, CBSE shall extrapolate the same decision to Class 12th Maths Board Exams as well. Many other authorities like Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education & International Baccalaureate (IB) design their academic curriculum based on a child’s interest.
