AR Rahman To Give Music For Imtiaz Ali’s Ranbir and Deepika Starrer Window Seat

AR Rahman and Imtiaz Ali have been the most inspiring duo for Bollywood music in the last couple of years. Their first outing together Rockstar consisted of some very popular songs which still lighten our mood today. They teamed up again for Highway and Tamasha later in 2014 and 2015 respectively both of them which came with memorable tunes. The news we bring to you today is that Imtiaz has zeroed in on the musician for Window Seat and it is none other than AR Rahman. Window Seat stars the ex couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone who parted ways a few years ago.

About the new AR Rahman musical Window Seat

Imtiaz Ali’s new project titled Window Seat will reportedly go on floors by mid 2018 and will star Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The music department will be helmed by none other than AR Rahman who has been teaming up with Imtiaz Ali frequently. Imtiaz has had a pretty bad year in 2017 since the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal did not work at the box office.

He is bringing the best team of people for his next venture Window Seat which is expected to release by the end of 2018. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have both worked with Imtiaz Ali in the past and they appeared together in the 2015 hit Tamasha. AR Rahman too is a close friend with the director and has been roped in for the 2018 film.

Imtiaz Ali has been hailed as the king of romance films in India and the songs from every movie he has ever made have been immensely popular. The 2018 film Window Seat too is expected to come with AR Rahman’s best works to date.

AR Rahman and Imtiaz Ali worked for the first time in Rockstar and each song from the 2011 blockbuster had a great impact. ‘Jo Bhi Main’, ‘Aur Ho, and ‘Tum Ho’ still manage to connect the user today after 6 years of release. ‘Maahi Ve’ and ‘Agar Tum Sath Ho’ too from Highway and Tamasha respectively are the best works by the Oscar winner AR Rahman.
