Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be declaring it’s 12th exam results for the year 2017 on 28th May (Sunday). After a continuous delay in the 12th board results 2017, CBSE has now decided to release the same on Sunday. The wait for the students appeared in CBSE 12th board exam for the session 2016-2017 will be over by Sunday, as the board will surely announce the results on 28th May by 12 noon.
Earlier it was said that the results of class 12 may be delayed for the year 2017 due to the ongoing marks moderation policy. But now it has been finalised that the CBSE 12th exam results 2017 will be out on Sunday on the official website of the board i.e cbse.nic.in.
About CBSE and 12th Board Result 2017
Central Board of Secondary Education is a Board of Education for private and public schools managed by the Union Government of India. Since 1962, CBSE has been carried out 10th and 12th exams in private and public schools affiliated to the board. Its headquarter is located in New Delhi.
A total of 10,98,891 candidates has been awaiting their 12th CBSE board results for the year 2017. For the exams that have been conducted in 10,678 schools in the month of March, the board will be announcing the results of all the 10 regions altogether. Delhi region has the highest number of candidates appeared for the 12th CBSE board exams in 2017.
How to check CBSE 12th Result 2017
As the CBSE results 2017 for class 12 will be revealed on Sunday (28 May) on the official website. And here are the simple steps candidates will have to follow to check their 12th board 2017 results on CBSE website-
- Log in to the official website of CBSE board i.e cbse.nic.in.
- Click on to the class 12th result 2017 tab.
- Enter your roll number and school number in the given space.
- Click on the submit button and download the result.
- Take a printout of the CBSE 12th board 2017 exam result for future reference.
Along with the official website of the CBSE, results of class 12 for the year 2017 will also be available on different websites like- cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in and examresults.net.
For the CBSE 10th board results 2017, it is expected that the result will be out on 2 June.
