Instagram has changed the way we share our clicked photographs with the world and it has surely motivated the photographer inside us to be more active. We all click photographs of something or the other and to bring it on a good level, a City based organisation named “Chandigarh Shutterbugs” are holding the first ever event of its kind – Chandiagrh Instameet 1.0.
It is Chandigarh’s first such photography event where passionate photographers of the city will gather, shoot, discuss, have fun & create endless memories. The best thing about Chandigarh Instameet 1.0 is that it is not limited to people having DSLR cameras, but anyone can be a part of this event even with a normal mobile phone camera.
Chandigarh Instameet 1.0 Event Details
The event is a one day event where photographers will shoot the city according to the theme. Here are some details for the event.
Chandigarh Insta Meet 1.0
Date: 17th September, 2016.
Timings: 1 PM to 6 PM.
Venue: Alliance De Francaise, Sector 36, Chandigarh.
Theme: Hidden Chaos, Macro & City Life.
Entry: Free. (However registration is must).
Instameet 1.0 Photography Venue & Schedule
1st Stop = Alliance Francaise de Chandigarh’s Wall Art
2nd Stop = Fragrance Garden
3rd Stop = Photo tips will be given on shooting that Perfect Portrait. A get-together outside the Fragrance Garden.
4th Stop = Notary, Sector 17-D.
5th Stop = Historical Indian Coffee House or any Other Eatery in Sector 17 for a meeting to discuss topics/queries & doubts.
Entry to the event is absolutely FREE.

About Chandigarh Shutterbugs
Chandigarh Shutterbugs has been founded by Kanik Singh, a passionate photographer who has been doing photography right from the age of 14. He represented Chandigarh at 500px-Fujifilm Global Photowalk 2015 and stood 6th. Kanik has also been to Flickr Photowalk 2015 where he was adjudged among the top 10 photographers. He has also been to the all prestigious Scott Kelby’s 8th Annual Worldwide Photowalk 2015 and was again among the top 10 to lead the event.
Pritish Goel, mobile photography head of the group believes that “People should come to Instameet 1.0 because they will get to explore themselves”. Chandigarh Shutterbugs is trying to create a common platform for artists who love photography to express themselves. Everyone has some sort of passion/talent & that needs to be found & brushed within.
