7th Pay Commission | Deputation Allowance For Central Government Employees Doubled

After so much of disappointment, a light of hope has now been shown to all the central government employees waiting for the minimum pay hike on the recommendation of 7th Pay commission. After all the hopes were crushed, the government has come forth with a good news for all the working central government employees. It was just recently that the government announced that the deputation that is Duty allowance for every central government employee is going to be increased in significant numbers.

After the alleged news came forth that the government has rejected the 7th Pay commission’s proposal of the minimum pay hike, the vibe of disappointment can be seen on the faces of 50 Lakh employees. A light of joy and a flickering happiness has cut through the disappointment when the government announced that the Deputation allowance for the central government employees is going to get doubled.

The New Upcoming Duty Allowance Under 7th Pay Commission

The news of doubling of the Deputation (Duty) allowance under 7th Pay Commission came through media and several relevant sources. The order was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training that the Duty allowance for the CG employee is going to be increased from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 4500 per month in the case where the deputation is within the same station. The order was issued on Friday by the Department of Personnel and Training. Where the employees who are serving in the same station are given 5% hike in the deputation allowance there, the ones who are deputed in a different city are going to be given 25% rise in the deputation allowance.

Well, this good news no doubt has brought the smile back to the Central government employees still the news of no minimum pay hike under 7th pay commission is still causing pain in the hearts of them. It was just three months back when the government waved the green flag for the 7th pay commission recommendation of increasing the minimum pay from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 21,000 and Fitment Factor from 2.57 to 3. And now after the wait of 3 months, central government employees have been left with no hope by the government.
