Diljit Dosanjh has surely set up a benchmark in Bollywood with his acting skills and now Jassie Gill hopes to do the same as well. As reports suggest after Diljit Dosanjh’s success, Jassie Gill is set to make his Bollywood debut alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty in the sequel to the critical success ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’.
Sonakshi who has collaborated with Diljit Dosanjh for ‘move your lakk’ in the movie Noor will once again be sharing screen space with a Punjabi superstar. Muddasar Aziz will helm the director’s chair again and we are glad there are no changes to the captain of the ship.
Jassie Gill Follows The Footsteps Of Diljit Dosanjh:
Considered one of the best looking men in the Punjabi industry Jassie Gill has a sensational female fan base courtesy his singing and acting skills. Like Diljit Dosanjh, he also started his career as a Punjabi singer and then went on to star in Punjabi movies. Though his stint in the Punjabi cinema did not bring him as much popularity as Diljit Dosanjh, his charming looks maintained he gets consistent roles. Diljit Dosanjh and Jassie Gill both hail from district Ludhiana in Punjab.
Doing It The Diljit Dosanjh Way:
Another unconfirmed report also suggests that Jassie Gill will be doing not one but two Bollywood movies and the other one is named Manmarziyan. We have no details on what the project is as of now. With that news, the fans of the Punjabi film industry are rejoicing as Diljit Dosanjh also signed his next movie opposite Taapsee Pannu. Diljit Dosanjh will play the role of a hockey player in his next titled Flicker Singh.
The movie is based on the former captain of Indian hockey team Sandeep Singh. We hope Jassie Gill is blessed with as much love as Diljit Dosanjh got in his debut Udta Punjab. Recently Gippy Grewal was also seen in Lucknow Central but the movie tanked at the box office and he could not make the same impact that Diljit Dosanjh made in movies like Phillauri.
Happy Bhaag Jayegi 2 starring Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty and Jassie Gill will release sometime next year under Anand L Rai’s production banner. Sonakshi is also currently filming another movie starring Diljit Dosanjh which is produced by Vashu Bhagani.
