DRDO CEPTAM Recruitment 2018: Last month i.e in August, Defence Research & Development Organisation has started the process of filling the online application form for the post of Senior Technical Assistant B post. Now the last date for the online application form is coming near and all those candidates who haven’t applied yet for the post are advised to fill out and submit their application form.

The process of filling the application form for the post of Senior Technical Assistant B in DRDO was scheduled to end on 29th August but day before the actual last date, Defence Research and Development Organization extended the last date to 13th September. Only a few days have left for the last date and candidates are advised to fill the application form.
DRDO CEPTAM Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
The minimum age limit to apply for the post in DRDO is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years. At the time of applications, candidates will have to pay the application fee for the DRDO recruitment 2018 online application. The application fee is Rs.100 for the General and OBC Category candidates while there is no application fee for the other categories candidates and female candidates. The application fee can be paid via Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2018 official notification, there are total 494 vacancies. these vacancies are for the post of Senior Technical Assistant B in different departments. The departments are – Metallurgy, Photography, Physics, Psychology, Zoology, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Library Science, Geology, Instrumentation, Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Agriculture, Automobile Engineering, Botany, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering and Computer Science.
The selections of the candidates will be based on written exam. The DRDO Entry test includes Tier 1 CBT exam and DRDO Tier 2 CBT exam. After that, the Preliminary Exam Document verification process will be done.
The Tier 1 CBTU exam of DRDO will be of 150 marks while the Tier 2 CBT exam of DRDO will be of 100 marks. The candidates will have to clear the Tier 1 to appear in the Tier 2 exam of DRDO Recruitment 2018.
