In fact the launch was pushed ahead further by the company but we have a timeline for you now. Apparently, Maruti has discontinued the production of the existing model and only the remaining stocks will be sold now. Since the mass production of a new car starts approximately a month prior to the launch of the car, we can expect the new Maruti Suzuki Swift to go into mass production in January. Moreover, Maruti is expectedly shutting down its facilities for a few days by the end of December which it does yearly.

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 has been already been revealed and gets an all new design outside and inside. It also gets new features like a touch screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto but the engines are expected to be the same. As much as 3 new Swift models are coming to India including a Sports variant and a hybrid model. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift will launch around February in time for Auto Expo in Delhi. The new generation is also expected to come at a premium of 40,000-50,000 over the existing Swift.
