Hero Karizma is Coming Back With 2 New Models | To Challenge Bajaj Dominar

Hero Karizma was one of the most iconic bikes that was launched in India a decade ago but today it can barely land up any buyers at all. The bike was not updated in 3-4 years and was finally discontinued a year ago due to lack of sales. The company has apparently heard its cries and keeping in mind the response of the customers to enthusiast bikes like the Bajaj Dominar, Hero has decided to bring back the Karizma brand and give it its lost glory.

Hero Karizma Will Take On The Likes Of Bajaj Dominar

The Hero Karizma had quite the following once thanks to the reality TV show by MTV India called Roadies. It was the once the biggest displacement motorcycle in the market apart from the Royal Enfields. However, the launch of the Pulsar brand gave it a tough competition and gave birth to the likes of Bajaj Dominar. After the split with Honda, Hero has had no luck with bigger displacement bikes like the Karizma and currently sells up to 150cc bikes in India. However, keeping in mind the fact that the customers have warmed up to motorcycles with bigger engines the company is apparently working on 200cc Xtreme twins.

The KTM motorcycles and Bajaj Dominar have been dominating the 200-400 cc segment and luring the enthusiast customers with some serious performance for the money. Hero Karizma might follow the same footsteps and come with a complete design overhaul and cater to the same customer. Either way Hero will be looking to equip the Karizma with an engine bigger than 200cc like before and offer the performance hungry a product from its portfolio.

Price And Launch Date Of The Bajaj Dominar Rival: Hero Karizma

The new Hero Karizma is coming but there have been no official reports as of now. The rumour of Hero developing more than one bike in the Karizma range has been doing the rounds and the motorcycles might not see the light of the day before 2020. Expect the pricing of the new bike be really competitive and there is a good chance of it undercutting the price of Bajaj Dominar by a huge margin.
