Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) will be declaring its entrance exam result for the session 2017-18 tomorrow. IIMC has made the official announcement of the entrance exam result dates on the official website. And it has been mentioned that IIMC will announce the entrance exam result for the session 2017-2018 on 22 June 2017 by the evening.
Although no exact time has been mentioned over the website of IIMC, but it is for that IIMC will upload the 2017-18 entrance exam result on the official website i.e www.iimc.nic.in by tomorrow evening. Candidates appeared for the admission exam of IIMC for the year 2017 can check their result on the official website of the Institutes.
About IIMC & Entrance Exam Result 2017-18
Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has emerged as the prestigious college for the study of Journalism and related courses. Every year thousands of student across the World appear for the entrance exam conducted by IIMC at various centres in India. IIMC conduct one of the toughest entrance exams in the field of Mass Communication, where just a few hundred students got selected.
For the session 2017-18, IIMC received a total of 6624 applications breaking the record of previous years of 4733 applications. And now IIMC will come out with the result of entrance exam for the academic session 2017-18 tomorrow. The entrance exam of IIMC 2017-18 was conducted in the last week of May and the applications were filled up in April.
Process to check IIMC Entrance Result 2017 & further schedule
IIMC offers PG Courses in- Advertising & PR, Radio & TV Journalism, Hindi/ English/ Odia/ Urdu Journalism. Students appeared for the PG Courses entrance exam for the IIMC 2017-18 admission can check their result after the declaration of the result by following the simple steps.
- Open the official website of IIMC i.e www.iimc.nic.in.
- Click on the link Entrance exam result under News and Announcement category.
- Enter the roll no. and select the applied PG Course.
- Submit the information and check the result.
- Take the print out of the IIMC entrance exam result.
After the declaration of the entrance exam result, IIMC will conduct an interview and GD (Group Discussion) Session for the selected students on the last week of June or 1st week of July. Further, the first admission list of IIMC for the session 2017-18 will be out in the 2nd or 3rd week of July.
