IIT JAM 2019 | Registrations Begin – All You Should Know From Process to Eligibility & More

IIT JAM 2019: Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has started the registration for Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2019 on the official website. On 5th September 2018 only, IIT Kharagpur enabled the link for the registration for JAM Exam 2019. Although IITKGP will close the online application process for JAM 2019 on 10 October 2018 as per the official notification.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has been the organising body the Joint Admission Test for the year 2019. For the current year 2018, it was IIT Bombay that conducted the JAM Test. Check out the eligibility, application process & more details of IIT JAM 2019 below.

IIT JAM 2019: IIT Kharagpur Starts the Registration Process | Know Important Dates

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has released the official notification for Joint Admission Test also known as JAM for the year 2018. According to the notification, the registration has begun on 5th September 2018 and the last date for the same is 10 October 2018. Further, the exam for JAM 2019 will be held on 10 February and the result will be declared on 20 March 2019. The JAM exam uses to be conducted by IIT for the admission in M.Sc and Post Bachelor’s degree programme every year.

Interested and eligible candidate can register for JOAPS 2019 via the official website i.e jam.iitkgp.ac.in. After that one can click on the online portal for JOAPS 2019 and then fill up the required information. Although the new entrant has to register first, but those who have registered earlier will have to log in with the use of id and password for JAM 2019.

Eligibility for the Registration and Admission for IIT JAM 2019

As far as the eligibility for the Indian Institute of Technology (KGP) Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2019 is concerned, candidates must have cleared a Bachelor degree. Even he/ she should have passed the qualifying degree with atleast 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA (General candidates) and 50% marks/ 5 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Whereas the last date for the submission of final proof of the qualifying degree is 30 September 2019.
