Indian Railways Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
Dates – The online registration for the Indian Railways recruitment has started for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) and Technician Grade III posts. All interested candidates who want to apply can register themselves on the official website till 5 March 2018.
Vacancies – There are total 26502 vacancies for the post o Technician Grade III posts and Assistant Loco Pilot in Indian Railways. All the 21 RRBs (Railway Recruitment Boarfd) nationwide will fill 26502 vacancies.
Application Fee – For General Category candidates the application fee is Rs.500 and for reserved category candidates the Application Fee is Rs.250. Candidates can pay the examination fee online via Internet Banking, Credit card or via Debit Card.
How To Apply – Candidates will have to apply online on the official website of RRBs. Before applying online for the Indian Railways Recruitment 2018 all candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the conditions and eligibility. After the online submission of application form candidates will get the registration number and password. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the applicant. This can be used further for filling the application form and making payment.
The online application form will have two parts. In the first part, candidates will have to fill education qualifications, Community, gender, Caste and category and in the second part details of the candidates. After that candidate will have to upload photograph and signature and then will have to pay the examination fee. After the submission of the online application form candidates can also edit the details by paying Rs.250. This is the modification fee and State, Email and Mobile Number will not be changed.
Indian Railways Recruitment 2018 – Exam Pattern
Exam Pattern for First Stage CBT – The first stage exam will be of 1 hour and it will consist of 75 questions. For all unreserved category candidates, the minimum marks to qualify is 40%. All these 75 questions will be from Reasoning, General Intelligence, Mathematics, General Science, General Awareness and Current Affairs.
Exam Pattern for Second Stage CBT – This exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes and it will have two parts. The first part will be of 90 minutes and the second part will be of 60 minutes.
Exam pattern for Aptitude Test – In the Aptitude Test only candidates who have applied for the Loco Pilot and have qualified the Stage 1 and Stage 2 of CBT will appear. There will be no negative marking in this test.
