Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has been in news for almost the entire last month due to its massive recruitment drive. As per the official notification, KVS recruitment 2018 has over 8339 posts for TGT, PGT, PRT teachers, assistant teachers, librarian, and vice principal. Applications were invited from eligible candidates starting from 24th August. Earlier, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan had extended the last date to 23rd September i.e Sunday and we wish to inform our readers that today is the last day to apply for a government job in Kendriya Vidyalaya schools.

KVS Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility
As Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has issued a notification for various posts, the eligibility criteria for each of these posts is different. We have mentioned the main highlights.
For the post of Principal in KVS – The applicant should have a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate along with a BEd degree or equivalent teaching degree. For the post of Vice-Principal, BEd degree and a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks is required.
For PGT teacher post in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan – The eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have done 2 Year Integrated Post Graduate MSc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject. Similarly, for TGT post in KVS, the applicant must have done 4 years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. For PRT, the applicant must be 10th pass with a minimum of 50% marks and should hold a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan – How to Apply
As mentioned above, today is the final day to apply for KVS recruitment. The last date was already extended before and this time 23rd September, Sunday is the final chance to fill online application.

On the home page, click on ‘Apply online for KVS Recruitment of Principal, Vice-Principal, PGTs, TGTs, Librarian and PRTs in KVS. The notification is dated 24 Aug 2018. Now, you’ll have to register yourself on the website. After that fill the application form with correct details and submit. A registration number will be generated.
After this candidates have to log in with the username and password and proceed to pay online fees to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Please note that the last day to pay online fees is 25th September.
