PGT: A Postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks from recognised University or College. Whereas for PGT Computer Science, one must have at least 50% marks in BE, B.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, B.Sc, BCA or any equivalent degree.
TGT: A Graduation degree in the respective subjects with at least 50% marks. Also one must have qualified for CTET Part II exam as well.
PRT: Candidates must have passed Intermediate with at least 50% marks. Also one must have a B.Ed/ D.Ed/ DTC/ JBT or any other equivalent degree from recognised University. Even one must have qualified CTET Part I.
Further for Sports coaches and Activity teachers post, the candidate must have a Diploma in the same field from recognised University. Salary Details
The salary package of KVS Teachers starts at Rs. 750 per day. Although the pay package of KVS teaching or non-teaching staff differs from post to post. Even the selected candidates will get pay as per 7th Central Pay Commission. With various posts, KVS has released the various pay scale as well for both teaching and non-teaching staff. PGT Teacher for Maths, Chemistry, English, Biology, Hindi, Physics and Computer Science, candidates will get paid upto Rs. 47000+. On the other hand, the TGT teachers for Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths, English, Social Science will get salart approx Rs. 44000+. Further PRT teachers will be paid upto Rs. 35000+, even the yoga teacher, counsellor, activity teacher, sports coaches, music & dance coach will also be paid the same. Although the computer instructor teaching Class VI above will be paid Rs. 31250 and below the same will be paid Rs. 26250. Last for the post of Nurse in KVS, selected candidates will get paid at Rs. 750 per day.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern for Various Post

Principal/ Vice Principal: It will be of a total of 150 questions of 150 marks. The question paper will be divided into 4 section- General English & Hindi, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Education and last will be of Administration and Finance. The total duration of the same will be of 150 minutes.
PGT: The question paper of this post will consist of 150 questions and will be of 150 marks only. It will be divided into 3 part. Part 1 will have questions from General English and General Hindi, whereas part 2 will include questions from General knowledge & current affairs, Reasoning ability, computer literacy and pedagogy. Lastly, part 3 will have questions from the Subject concerned.
TGT (Eng/ Hindi/ S.Sc/ Maths/ Sanskrit/ Science): The question paper will have 2 sections and it will have questions from General English, General Hindi, Current affairs, Computer literacy, Reasoning ability and Pedagogy. Further, the TGT teachers opting for P & HE, Art Education have to answer questions from the concerned subject as well.
PRT: Question paper for primary teachers as well will be divided into 3 sections and consist of questions from General English/ Hindi, General Knowledge, Computer literacy, Reasoning Ability, Pedagogy and Subject concerned. Although for Librarian post there will be 2 sections in the question paper but will hold questions from these subject only.
All the question will have a total of 150 questions and will be of total of 150 marks. Even the candidates need to complete the question paper in a total of 150 minutes of duration. Although the schedule of the KVS Recruitment exam will be mentioned on the respective admit card of the candidate.
Exam Centre for KVS Recruitment 2020
At the time of filling the online application for KVS Recruitment, candidates will be able to opt for the prefered exam centre. During the online application process, candidates will have to opt for the 2 prefered exam centre as per their convenience. Candidates must follow some more instruction if appearing for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Recruitment exam. Here are some more points that must be kept in mind by the candidates appearing for KVS Recruitment 2020-
Applicant must carry his/ her respective admit card to the exam centre. As no one will be allowed to enter the KVS exam centre without the admit card and valid photo id proof.
Even candidates will not be allowed to take any kind of paper or electronic items (calculator, mobile, Bluetooth & more) along with then inside the exam hall.
No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall after the commencement of the exam. So one must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes prior to the exam time.
