World Bank Declares Ludhiana as The Best City in India to do Business

Ludhiana (Punjab) has been declared as the best city of India to carry out any Business. Under the ease of doing business ranking report, World Bank has announced the best countries and cities for the business purpose all over the World. And in India, Ludhiana in the state of Punjab has topped the ranking of ease of doing business. Whereas as India has bagged 100th position in the list of best countries to do business in.

Ludhiana is in the first position, whereas Hyderabad and Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) have bagged the second and third rank in the survey of Ease of doing business. Although last year India was in the 130th rank on the same list of World Bank.

Study says ‘Ludhiana is the best city in India to do Business’

Among the 17 cities of India, Ludhiana becomes the best city to do business in the country. No other cities of Punjab have made it the Top 10 list of best business cities in India. In 2017, India has improved the rank in the list of ease to do business list. From 142 rank in 2014, India has now been placed in the 100th list of the best country to do business in the World.

Ludhiana surely made Punjab proud by entering the best city in India to do a business list of World Bank. Study of the World Bank for the survey has been carried out under various parameters like- Quantitative regulations measures for the stating up of a business, Employing workers, taxes, trading, dealing with the construction permits, registering property, getting credits, enforcing contracts, and much more.

Apart from Ludhiana (Punjab), these are the cities in India for Business

Although Ludhiana topped the World Bank ranking for the ease to do a business survey amongst Indian cities, but many other metro cities also made it to this list. Hyderabad and Bhubaneshwar have been positioned in the second and third position in the same list. Whereas capital city, Delhi has been placed in the 8th position on the top list of Indian cities to do business in by the World Bank.

Let’s hope more cities of Punjab state to be in the World Bank list of ease to do a business ranking.
