CBSE NEET (UG) 2018 exam aspirants can fill the online application forms for the test by today. After extending the due date of closing NEET 2018 registration process, the deadline for online application process is today i.e. March 12, 2018. Candidates who aspire to take the prestigious medical entrance exam as NEET on May 6, 2018 can fill and submit the forms at cbseneet.nic.in online.
CBSE which is the conducting body of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam has also uploaded an official notification cum detailed write-up online. The official online CBSE external web portal for NEET 2018 shall remain active for its online form-filling process till 5:30 am. NEET 2018 Application Process Deadline Ends Today | Apply at cbseneet.nic.in Online
Candidates can submit their online application forms for NEET 2018 exam till 5:30 pm today. The initial deadline for submitting the same was on March 9, 2018. But, keeping in view of the decision made by SC in regard of making Aadhar Card as an important document, the Court has dismissed the same. It passed a verdict on allowing candidates without the same to apply for the test.
Therefore, in order to accommodate more students the online application date was extended on March 7, 2018. Also, candidates can submit the NEET 2018 exam online application fee till March 13, 2018 by 11:50 pm. Candidates are iterated to carefully go through the NEET 2018 detailed official notification before applying for the same online.
NEET 2018 | More Candidates Allowed To Apply For Test Online This Year
Hon’ble Supreme Court after its verdict on dismissing NEET 2018 Aadhar Card compulsion norm has allowed candidates without the document to apply online. This means more candidates shall now be able to take the prestigious NEET 2018 in May this year.
Apart from this, NIOS and open school candidates are also allowed to submit NEET 2018 online application forms. Though, it is still unclear if these candidates would be allowed to actually sit for the test in May or not. The decision remains pending with the authorities whose verdict is expected to be released in the first of week of April this year.
