NEET Counselling 2018 | First Round to Begin Tomorrow – Check All Important Dates

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) declared the result recently after which the Counselling dates for the year 2018 has also been announced. Students who have cleared the NEET 2018, will now have to attend the counselling session to get admission in reputed Medical Colleges. Although for being a part of NEET Counselling process, candidates have to register with authorities.

On 5th June 2018 only, CBSE declared the result for NEET exam 2018 and all those who have been qualified for the Medical entrance exam must be waiting for their counselling call. Check out the important dates, documents and more details required for the NEET Counselling process for the year 2018 below.

Documents required for NEET Counselling 2018

Candidates applying for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) Counselling process for the year 2018, must bring below-mentioned documents for the verification process for admission- NEET 2018 admit card, Rank letter of NEET 2018, Class 10 &12 certificates along with marksheet, ID Proof, 8 Passport size photos, Provisional allotment letter, Community Certificate (if applicable).

Some seats of NEET 2018 have been reserved under various quotas and the counselling will also be carried out on the same basis. Out of the 100% seats, 15% has been reserved for AIQ candidates (All India Quota). Whereas 100% of seats in Deemed & Central Universities are reserved for the wards of ESIC under IP Quota at Medical college and Armed Force Medical College (Pune).

Now as the results for 2018 NEET exam has been out by CBSE, qualified students are eagerly waiting for the counselling call to get admission in their dream colleges. The counselling process for the NEET qualified students will start from 12 June 2018. Know the Counselling process & tentative important dates of NEET 2018 counselling process here-

Tentative NEET 2018 Counselling Dates

First-round Counselling of NEET 2018: Starts from June 12 to 24 June 2018

Admission after 1st counselling: 3 July 2018

Second round of counselling: From 6 to 12 July 2018

Last date for the admission: 22 July

Mop-up counselling round: 12 to 22 August 2018

Last date of joining after Mop-up: August 26

After the Mop-up, colleges will transfer the seats to the deemed universities for the final mop-up on August 27. Whereas the last date for joining after the final mop-up round of NEET counselling will be 31 August.
