“Sachin”, The Anthem was launched by Sachin Tendulkar, the God of cricket and one of the greatest batsmen along with the team of the upcoming biopic “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”. AR Rahman, Music Composer, Ravi Bhagchandka, Producer and James Erskine, the director shared their experiences while making the biopic “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”
Sir Sachin Tendulkar also shared his childhood stories at the event. After hearing the “Sachin” anthem, Sir Sachin Tendulkar got nostalgic and said that the song reminds him of the good old days when they used to practice in the rain as there was no provision of indoor practice. He said that he is reliving all those days through his upcoming biopic “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”. Sachin’s mantra of success was that he used to look forward to the next match, one after another.

AR Rahman said that the Sachin anthem would let people relive those days when the master blaster used to walk into the stadium. Rahman sir said that it was a big challenge to compose a music which lets people relive those days when the master blaster used to step in the stadium. He also said that creating a soundtrack for Sachin’s biopic has been a completely different experience and hopes that the fans would love the music.
Sachin Tendulkar said that the chants “Sachin Sachin Sachin” inspired him and also helped him face difficult situations on the cricket field. Sachin also praised AR Rahman for the inspirational anthem he created for Sachin’s upcoming biopic “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”.

Sachin Tendulkar rewinds back and said that just the way the crowd chanted “Sachin Sachin Sachin”, his mother also used to say “ Sachin Sachin uper aa jao”.
AR Rahman was delighted and said that the team is happy as the “Sachin” anthem has come out so good, the notes from Sachin and James are amazing. Ravi Bhagchandka, the director of the movie said that the team has worked really hard and they worked on 15 themes. He said that the Sachin anthem is a tribute to Sachin.
James Erskine, the director of the film said that the audience will love the movie as there is an emotional connection. The movie is all about the hard work, humbleness of Sachin Tendulkar.
The movie “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” is all set to hit the theatres on May 26, 2017, and will be released in Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu.
