SSC CGL 2018 Recruitment: On 5th May, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the official notification for the CGL 2018 (Combined Graduate Level) Exam. Important Dates: The online application process for the SSC CGL 2018 exam started on 5th May. The last date for the application of Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018 is 4th June. The Date of Staff Selection Commission CGL Tier I (CBT) is from 25th July to 20th August. The dates for the Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 of the SSC CGL 2018 exam will be notified later on.
Group B & Group C Posts: The CGL exam 2018 will recruit candidates for the Group B and Group C posts. The Group B posts include – Assistant Audit Officer, Assitant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section officer (In different departments), Assistant (In various departments), Assistant/Superintendent, Excise Inspector, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspector Posts, Sub Inspector, and Junior Statistical Officer.
The Group C Posts under Staff Selection Commission 2018 recruitment through Combined Graduate Level Exam includes – Inspector of Income Tax, Auditor, Accountant, Junior Accountant, UDC (Upper Division Clerk), Tax Assistant, Sub Inspector, Upper Division Clerk. These posts are for the various departments and ministries.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on basis of a written test based on different Tiers. There will be four Tiers in the CGL 2018 exam. The first Tier (Tier – I) and second Tier (Tier – II) will be a Computer Based Test. The third tier (Tier – III) of the SSC CGL Exam 2018 will be descriptive Test and the fourth Tier (Tier – IV) will be a skill test.
