The wait is finally over and the Commission has finally announced the examination date of SSC JE 2016 Descriptive examination commonly called as the Paper 2 of the most sought after Junior Engineer Examination of 2016 conducted by SSC in 2017.

Here’s what the gist of the official notification released by SSC regarding the SSC JE Exam 2016’s Paper (II) says.
- The Result of SSC JE 2016 Paper 1 has been officially announced on June 5, 2017.
- The result of all the streams of Junior Engineers including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and QS&C out.
- The Paper (II) of SSC JE 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on July 30, 2017.
- The candidates shortlisted via SSC JE 2016 Paper 1 are eligible to take Paper II.
- The SSC JE 2016 Paper II would be of a Descriptive format as against CBT.
About SSC JE Paper (II) 2016
The Paper (II) is going to be a descriptive examination as against the Computer Based Test that is conducted in the Paper 1 of SSC JE Examination. The examination is conducted by the SSC to recruit graduate engineers into various Engineering and Government departments. The Commission provides equal job opportunities to both men and women candidates and hereby release in their notification an encouragement notice for all the women candidates to must apply without charging them any examination fee.

SSC JE Examination 2017 Notification
Students must not confuse the release date of notification with the examination and the same disclaimer goes with the year as mentioned. The exam date of SSC JE 2016 Paper II is July 30, 2017 and the notification of this information stating its official confirmation has been released on June 16, 2017.
