The results for Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET 2017) seat allotment is out now on the official website tseamcet.nic.in. Candidates who had appeared for the TS EAMCET 2017 earlier this year can now check the allotment of seats done by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad had conducted TS EAMCET 2017 on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for candidates seeking admissions into professional colleges located across Telangana. The exam was held on May 12, 2017 at various centres all across the state.
TS EAMCET 2017 results for seat allotment announced
This year over 2,20,070 candidates had registered for the test, out of which, 79,013 filled their forms for Agriculture and Pharma courses while 141,054 candidates filled for Engineering. To take admissions in engineering and technology courses more than 1.31 lakh candidates had appeared for TS EAMCET 2017 while 73,000 candidates had appeared for agriculture and medical courses. When the results were declared on May 22, a total of 98,596 candidates were announced qualified for engineering.
As published on various media channels, this year TSCHE has lowered the total seat numbers by 2700 in order to avoid vacant seats. There were 67,000 total number of seats available but was brought down to 64,300. Last year also, after the first phase of the seat allotment, almost 9,000 seats remained vacant.
How to check results for TS EAMCET 2017 seat allotment
- Log onto the official website: tseamcet.nic.in
- Click on the link showing EAMCET seat allotment 2017
- Fill in your ROC form number and hall ticket number followed by password and DoB.
- Then your seat allotment result for TS EAMCET 2017 will be displayed on screen.
- Take the print out of it for future reference.
