UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
Important Dates – From January 22nd the online application process for the recruitment of UP Police Constable has started. The last date to apply for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 is 22 February 2018. All candidates are advised to first read the official notification carefully and then apply online. Candidates can pay the online examination fee up to 23 February. All candidates are advised to fill and submit the application form online on or before 22 February 2018

Vacancies in UP Police For Constable Post – There are total 41520 vacancies for the post of Constable in UP Police. These 41520 vacancies are for post name Constable Civil & Constable RAC. For the Constable Civil posts Male and Female candidates can apply and for Constable RAC only Male candidates can apply. Category Wise vacancies are as follows – For Constable Civil (Male and Female) there are 23250 posts which include 11761 posts for General Category, 6350 posts for OBC category, 4939 posts for the SC category and 470 posts for ST category. For Constable RAC (Male) there are 18000 posts which include 9000 posts for General Category, 4860 posts for OBC category, 3780 posts for SC category and 360 posts for ST category.
Application fee & Age Limit – For General and OBC category the application fee is Rs.400 and for SC/ST category the application fees is also 400. Candidates can pay the fee online via credit/debit card or by net banking. The minimum age limit is 18-22 year for male candidates and for female 18-28 years.
Education & Pay Scale – The required education qualification for the post of Constable in UP Police is Intermediate (10+2) pass from a recognized board. Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/-+ Rs.2000 /- grade pay.
