The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an official notification on the official website declaring the UPSC CAPF (Assistant Commandants) Exam 2017 Final Result. All the students who had appeared for the UPSC CAPF (Asst. Commandants) Exam 2017, can now have a look at the UPSC CAPF Exam 2017 Final Result on the official website that is upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Exam 2017 was held on July 23, 2018, which were followed by the interview or the personality test which were conducted in the month of May 2018 from 7th to 17th. The merit list has been released which contains the name of the students who have been recommended for posts like Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Union Public Service Commission CAPF viz the BSF, CRPF, SSB as well as the Central Industrial Security Force.

As per the declared UPSC CAPF Exam 2017 Final Result, a total number of 170 candidates have been recommended by the Commission for the appointment. Out of these 170 candidates, 80 are of the general category out of which, 1 is inclusive in context to the ex-servicemen.
From the OBC category, 52 candidates have been selected which are inclusive of 4 ex-servicemen. SC category is subject to selection of 26 candidates and 12 from the ST category which also includes 1 ex-servicemen candidate. UPSC CAPF Exam 2017 Final Result | Reserve List & Clarification Counters
As per the Rule 16(4) as well as (5) of the Union Public Service Commission CAPF Exam 2017 Final Result declaration, a consolidated reserve list containing the names of 38 candidates has been prepared by the Commission below the name of the last recommended category in the merit list of UPSC CAPF Exam 2017. Out of those 38, 19 are for the general category, 17 for the OBC category as well as 2 for the SC category.
For the UPSC CAPF Exam 2017 Final Result, the Commission has initiated a ‘Facilitation Counter’ that is near the examination hall within the campus, which can be approached by the students so as to extract any information or clarification in relation to the exam.
