The examination scheme of the UPSC recruitment test of Assistant Commandants in the ‘Central Industrial Security Forces’ via the UPSC CISF exam 2018 can be checked herein. The UPSC CISF 2018 Exam shall be in a written format comprising of two Papers. Paper-I of the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam shall consist of 300 marks on the topic of General Ability & Intelligence & Professional Skills. This paper shall of objective type pattern consisting of 150 questions carrying two marks each for which 2.5 hours are allotted to the candidates to attempt the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam Paper-1. The Paper-I of the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam is further sub-divided into two parts of Part A consisting of General Ability & Intelligence consisting of 75 questions carrying 150 marks. While the Part B of the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam Paper-I shall comprise of 75 questions asked from Professional skill section only. The Paper-I of the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam though is an objective type consisting of multiple choice answer type questions while the Paper-II is a descriptive test which has to be taken either in Hindi or English language only.
This Paper-2 section of the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam consists of essay components which has to be performed only in one of the chosen language siin the answer booklet. But, Precis writing sections & comprehension section in the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam Paper-II shall be in English language only. This part of the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam i.e. Paper-2 is of 100 marks only which has to be attempted in a duration of 2 hours in total.
The cut-off marks shall be set separately for two Papers in the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam & no switch in the language opted by the candidate while appearing in the UPSC CISF 2018 Exam shall be allowed.
