UPSC IAS (Prelims) 2017 | Download E-Admit Card & Check Important Instructions for UPSE Civil Services Exam 2017

UPSC IAS Preliminary Examination of 2017 this year’s update is out. Union Public Service Commission, i.e UPSC  has released the e-admit card and important instructions for candidates appearing for the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2017 (also called as the IAS Prelims 2017).

Scheduled to be held this Sunday i.e. on June 16, 2017, UPSC IAS Prelims this year has released notifications and went live with updates well in advance to avoid the “eleventh-hour chaos” that perplexes the aspiring candidates of IAS 2017 conducted by UPSC.

UPSC IAS (Prelims) 2017: Notification

Releasing an online notification regarding UPSC’s most sought after IAS examination held annually to declare important instructions along with the electronic admit cards with photographs scanned onto it replacing the previous year’s paper admit cards that were issued by the Commission, UPSC via a list of Do’s and Don’ts openly announces as to what the code of conduct is expected out of aspiring candidates of the IAS Prelims of 2017 held by UPSC. Civil Services Examination recruits officers tagged as IAS Officers via an online test conducted by the UPSC every year for various departments in the Government of India.

Candidates are instructed to download their e-admit cards available on the Commission’s official website which is upsc.gov.in. Along with the provisional admission card i.e. e-admit card which permits the entry of the candidate in the examination hall at the venue, a list of important instructions is also made mandatory by the candidates to read it prior to appearing for the UPSC IAS Prelims exam on June 16, 2017 on Sunday.

UPSC IAS 2017: Steps to Download Admit Card

Here’s how to download and print your admit cards in a matter of a few simple steps.

  • Visit upsc.gov.in, UPSC’s official website.
  • Check the notification with the link.
  • Click on the link and submit your registration no.
  • Your e-admit card will appear on the screen along with instructions.
  • Download the admit card or directly print a copy in a legible format.
  • Read all important instructions before appearing for the IAS Prelims 2017.

Students not carrying admit cards in a printed format are liable to be denied entry by the Commission to sit for the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination of 2017 this Sunday. Students are requested to complete all the formalities before appearing for the test and carry Aadhar Card as an ID Proof to the examination hall of UPSC IAS 2017. One may notify the Commission in case if any discrepancy is found on the admit card prior to the exam date.
