Xiaomi Mi Note 2 (Special Edition) Launched with 6 GB RAM | Know Price, Specs & Features

Xiaomi has launched an updated version of Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The phone is called the special edition of Mi Note 2. In this new variant of Xiaomi Mi Note 2, there is 6GB RAM instead of 4GB RAM seen in the last variant. The new variant is priced at 2,599 Yuan which is approximately Rs 24,659. All the specs remain the same in the new variant except the RAM. The phone is launched in only Black color variation.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Specifications

To recall Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was launched in the month of October last year. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes with a touchscreen display of 5.70 inches and has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Under the hood, the phone is powered with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI. Talking about the RAM and storage of special edition of Xiaomi Mi Note 2, there is 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the existing variant comes with 64GB internal storage with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with 6GB RAM.

Moving to the camera department of the phone, there is a 22.56-megapixel camera at back and with an 8-megapixel camera at front with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. The phone is fueled with 4070mAh non-removable battery and it supports QuickCharge 3.0 for fast charging. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the home button of the phone. Connectivity option includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, and USB Type-C.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Launch Date in India

There are no words when Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come in India. Maybe this phone will come soon in India. Xiaomi is skipping the launch of high-end devices in India. As of now Mi Max 2 is expected to launch in India on 18th July. Mi Max 2 was launched in May this year in China at CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs,16,100).
