The images of Samsung Galaxy S9 are already making the rounds in the Indian mobile phone market and it is likely to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The industry experts are saying that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 will come with the biometrics system to read fingerprint with a single touch.
Samsung Galaxy S9 to feature fingerprint scanner
The biometric system developing company Synaptics has confirmed to have designed ‘Clear ID FS9500,’ which is the world’s first in-display fingerprint scanner. And with this mushrooming rumors that the Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus with the sport this feature of in- display finger scanner for the users. The finger scanner feature is considered as the security mechanism on the smartphone and if the rumors come out to be true and Samsung Galaxy S9 will be the first device in the S series to have the in-display fingerprint scanner.
As speculated, by touching a specific area on the display of the Samsung Galaxy S9, the fingerprint of the user will be taken and then the system running on the device will scan for the security purpose. Not only this, the Galaxy S9 device by Samsung is supposed to have bezel-free OLED infinity displays which in itself is a major innovation shift technically.
Expected specs and price of the Samsung Galaxy S9
As per the leaked images of Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone, the dimension of the device is speculated to be somewhat 147.63 x 58.63 x 8.41mm and will have smaller bezels with the camera lens slightly sticking out. It is also expected that Samsung will this time use 10-nanometer Exynos system-on-a-chip at some places while Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is likely to be used at other places.
Coming to the RAM of Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphones, it is hinted that the device will come with 4GB RAM and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus may come with 6GB RAM. The renders leaked about the Samsung Galaxy S9 also depicts it to sport a 5.8in and 6.2in full HD screen for the display. The phone is supposed to launch with a dual primary camera on the back with LED flash and a dual secondary camera as selfie shooter. However, Samsung has not yet declared the price of its upcoming Galaxy S9 but the experts are expecting it to cost £1000 approximately which will be Rs 86059.50 in the Indian currency.
