Airtel Rs.93 Plan with 1GB Data and Unlimited Free Calls

Airtel has launched the Rs.93 pack, especially for the non-commercial users. There is no limit on the daily data usage, however, users will get only 1GB data for 10 days. Vodafone the second largest telecom player in India has no such prepaid plan in this price range that offers free calls and data.

Comparing the Airtel Rs.93 plan with the Reliance Jio’s Rs.98 plan, Jio offers 2.1 GB data while Airtel offers only 1GB of data. However, there is a daily capping of 0.15 GB on data usage. Airtel offers 100 free SMS while Jio offers 140 free SMS in its plan. Both the operators offer unlimited local and STD calls with free roaming but the validity of Airtel pack is 10 days while that of Jio’s plan is 14 days. For the users who want to use daily data, Airtel 93 plan is better than the Reliance Jio 98 plan as there is no limit on daily data usage.

Airtel 199 Plan to counter Reliance Jio New Year Plans

Reliance Jio recently unveiled its 2018 Happy New Year plans that will offer additional data benefits to its users. To counter the Jio’s New Year plans, Airtel has come up with the Rs.199 plan offering 28GB 4G data with a validity of 28 days. In addition to 28 GB data it also offers free local and STD calls for a period of 28 days. However, the free data depends on the telecom circle as Airtel offers only 1GB data in some circles.

Airtel also offers free national roaming with its Rs.199 pack that makes the plan ideal for those who frequently travel and uses the phone in roaming. Reliance Jio comes with new plans every month and other telecom companies are bound to launch the corresponding recharge plans to beat the price war.
