Idea Cellular has launched a new prepaid plan for its prepaid users. The telecom operator has launched a new prepaid plan 295 to take on the Airtel recently launched 299 prepaid plan. This new plan of Idea is basically a calling plan with free SMS and some free data. And this is also the difference between the Airtel 299 plan and Idea 295 plan. Idea 295 Prepaid Plan Details
Talking about the Idea Prepaid Plan 295, the plan offers its users free calling. All the local calls, all the STD calls and calls made in raming are free in this plan. Do make a note that like the other combo plans of Idea, this plan of Idea also comes with daily and weekly calling limits. The daily free calling comes with a FUP of 250 minutes while the weekly calling limit is 1000 minutes.
Once the users cross this limit of free calling, the calls will be charged 1 paisa per second. The free calling is only applicable to the 100 unique numbers for seven consecutive days. The plan also offers free SMS. In this plan, users will get 100 free SMS per day. The telecom operator is also offering 5GB data in the plan. This is also a combo plan but offers only 5GB data for the whole validity period.
The validity of the Idea 295 prepaid plan is 42 days. Idea Cellular has also launched 595 prepaid plan. This prepaid plan of Idea offers 112 days validity. Idea Cellular users will get 10GB data in this plan. All calls are unlimited including local, STD and roaming calls. There is a limit on free calling – 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. The plan also offers 100 free SMS per day.
Airtel 299 Plan
The Airtel Prepaid plan 299 is also a calling plan. The plan offers unlimited calling only. There is no limits on calling. All the local calls, all the STD calls and all the roaming incoming and outgoing calls are free in this plan. There is no calling limit like which are in the Idea 295 plan. The validity of the plan is 45 days.
