Mahindra TUV 300 Plus Will Offer Nine Seating Capacity At A Budget | Launching Early 2018

Mahindra TUV 300 is all set to launch in India and the car has been spied on Mumbai Pune Expressway in full flesh. The car will be sold in India along with the existing TUV 300 which is giving a tough fight to the hatchback segment in the country. It is believed that the TUV 300 Plus will replace the Mahindra Xylo which is starting to show its age now. The new car gets a nine seat configuration in 2x3x4 format like the Scorpio and will priced at a premium over the existing TUV 300.

Mahindra TUV 300 Plus Features

Mahindra TUV 300 Plus looks like a stretched TUV with an extra pair of seats. It retains the same boxy design of the car and most of the design language remains the same. The headlamp cluster is same as the smaller TUV and the rear tail lamp now contours to the sides of the car.

The Mahindra TUV 300 Plus pictured was seen with 16-inch wheels but there is a good possibility that the car will get bigger wheels on higher variants. Infotainment department is not expected to bring in something revolutionary but a touchscreen system is likely along with AC Vents for all three rows. Mahindra will equip the 1.99-litre diesel engine in the TUV 300 Plus which makes 122BHP of power. It is also possible that the lower variants get the smaller 1.5-litre diesel engine like the existing TUV 300. The last row of seats can accommodate up to four people since the bench is perpendicular to the second row like the Mahindra Scorpio.
