A Gentleman features Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez playing lead roles. Sidharth and Jacqueline, both will be returning to big screen in a considerable time with ‘A Gentleman’.
On being interviewed Sidharth retorted that his character Gaurav is a very interesting, sweet character at one side who loves to cook, clean up his house like a typical Delhi Punjabi boy. On the other hand, there is a different shade where he is doing a lot of action. One side of the character wants a simple, happy life with a nice house and family. The other side of the character is outlandish, aggressive and one who jumps out of a 60-storey building.
Jacqueline Fernandez who portrays Kavya is an over-enthusiastic adventurer with jaw-dropping looks. He also made it clear that “there are two contrasting sides of Gaurav but it is not a double role.”
‘A Gentleman’ was initially set to be titled ‘Reloaded’. The movie is believed to bear semblance to Rishi Kapoor’s ‘Bobby’.
A Gentleman – Story
A Gentleman is a crime heroic tale of a “sunder, susheel” man ‘Gaurav’ who’s only goal is to have a well settled life. He is a homely man who lives in Miami and has immense love for cooking and his work. Gaurav falls in love with Kavya, who is polar opposite of Gaurav and as impulsive as can be. She is adventurous and over-joyous and wants to bring a little more risk and excitement in Gaurav’s life. However, life has other plans and turns upside down for them with an interesting twist where Gaurav is forced to drop his apron and pick up a gun to save his and his ladylove’s life.

A teaser clip for the movie has been launched on Sidharth Malhotra’s Twitter handle already. The songs of the movie are expected to release by the end of second week of July, one after another.The official trailer for “A Gentleman” will release on Monday, July 10 sharp at 12 noon. The movie will hit the screens in India on August 25, 2017.
Sidharth-Jacqueline Chemistry
The couple’s chemistry in the movie is too obvious to be told. While Sidharth and Jacqueline shared the news of release of their first official trailer on social media with a poster in which the duo indulged in a sensuous kiss, the movie is set to lite fire on stage. The shooting for the movie is done in India and in abroad as well. So the movie has some high voltage action sequences and is an action-comedy thriller. The plot of “A Gentleman” is not extraordinary but it will be a treat to watch. Watch out for tickets on August 25!
