Panjab University introduces Feedback System for Teachers

Panjab University (PU) has rolled out a new feedback system where students will be able to evaluate their teachers and provide feedback to university authorities through a confidential online form. The form for this purpose has already been drafted and the feedback system will be in place from the upcoming session at Panjab University.

However, a particular criteria has been set which will allow only good students to give feedback. Only the student who qualify the following will be able to fill the online feedback form for teachers.

  • No Compartments or Re-appears.
  • Student should have more than 75% attendance.

The new feedback form for teachers was approved by PUTA (Panjab University Teachers Association). The form contains sections where students will evaluate their  teachers and professors on punctuality, communication in class, completion of syllabus, ability to inspire, everyday lectures, accessibility etc.  Students will mark their evaluation on a 5 point rating scale. Some questions will also include curricular.

The best part about this feedback form is that a student does not even have to write his name or roll number on the form and the procedure will be kept completely confidential. It was stated that these online forms will only be used for the betterment of education at PU campus, Chandigarh.

According to the information, it was revealed that the student feedback system will only be implemented at Sector 14 campus of Panjab University and will not be available at any affiliated college as of now.
