After 3 days of the 21-year old girl Gangrape incident in Chandigarh still, the 3 accused related to the crime are far away from the reach of the Police. Although one of the accused of the Gangrape in Sector 53 has been identified by Chandigarh Police after watching the CCTV footage of Sector 42 petrol pump. And now Police have launched a special drive in parts of Mohali & Chandigarh to nab the Gangrape accused.
From nakas to special drive, Chandigarh Police have applied all the ways to get close to the Sector 53 gang-raped accused but are still clueless. And the victim has been discharged from the GMCH 16 after the medical examination, although she is stable but her mental condition is not well.
And what is Police doing to nab the Gangrape accused in Chandigarh?
As to identify the 3 Gangrape accused of Sector 53, Chandigarh Police have laid nakas and even distributed photos of the accused in slums & village areas. One of the accused have been into his middle-age and 2 were youngsters, who committed the horrible crime in Chandigarh. The accused of Sector 53 Gangrape case were in a green & yellow CNG auto rickshaw. Also, the Police got a clue that after committing the crime 3 of the accused consumed liquor near to Phase 2 (tavern) in Mohali.
Chandigarh Police along with Mohali Police have searched 1000 auto-rickshaws and asked about the accused from the different autorickshaw drivers but didn’t find any clue regarding the same. And even the Police are searching CCTV footage near to the Phase 2 Tavern in Mohali.
21-year-old Student Gangraped by Auto driver & 2 other in Chandigarh
On Friday evening, a 21-year-old Dehradun girl was raped by 3 men including the auto-driver in Sector 53. The incident took place when the girl was returning back to her PG in Mohali after completing her stenography class in Sector 37 at around 7 Pm. She hired a share autorickshaw where there were already 2 people sitting on the vehicle and from there one of the accused (auto driver) drive towards Sector 42 petrol pump saying that he want to refuel the vehicle. After that, he took the auto over the slip road of Sector 53 and committed the crime with 2 others.
Police also recreated the incident in Chandigarh road with the help of the Gangrape victim and expected soon to reach over the accused.
