Chandigarh Haryana Civil Services Exam Leak 2017 | Registrar Amongst 3 Accused

Chandigarh Haryana Civil Service (HCS) Exam leak has made shocking revelations of the Chandigarh Administration. As per the investigation which was conducted in order to get the details in relation to the Haryana Civil Service (judicial) exam in Chandigarh by the committee formed by the High Court concluded that the HCS Chandigarh Exam was leaked. In addition to the Chandigarh paper leak, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against 3 people out of which, 2 people were the candidates of the HCS exam along with Balwinder Sharma.

Balwinder Singh Accused in Chandigarh Paper Leak Case

Balwinder Singh who was the registrar of the recruitment of the exam which marked its beginning in the month of May is one of the main accused in the Chandigarh Paper Leak Case. As per the reports, he had the possession of the question paper from the time it had been set till its distribution. The master key of the question and answer key was also present with him till 17th July that is one day after the HCS Chandigarh Exam was conducted on 16th July 2017. In addition to it, the keys of the trunks in which the papers were printed, locked and further kept were with him.
As per the investigation report discharged, Balwinder formulated a statement in relation to him being innocent and being deliberately trapped in the case. Whereas, the calls records of Balwinder showed an exchange of 760 calls with Sunita who is another accused. On being questioned, he could not present a justification.

Chandigarh Paper Leak Case | Status Of Court Proceedings

As per the high court committee which conducted the probe in context to the HCS Chandigarh Exam concluded on the note that the paper was leaked and further recommended an investigation for Dr. Balwinder Kumar Sharma along with two Chandigarh based students namely Sunita and Sushila. The event came into highlight after a complaint was filed by Suman with whom, Sushila tried to strike a deal worth a whooping amount of Rs. 1.5 crores.
An FIR against the three namely Sunita, Sushila as well as Dr. Balwinder Sharma has been filed. The HCS Chandigarh Exam which was conducted on 16th July 2017 in order to recruit the posts of 109 officers was cancelled by the High Court owing to the Chandigarh Paper Leak. The fresh dates in context to the re-conduction of the exam are to be decided soon.

Background Highlight of the Chandigarh Paper Leak Case  

Sushila and Suman were the students of a coaching institute in Chandigarh. While sharing some videos in relation to the exam preparation, Sushila ended up sharing a audio clip conversation between her and another girl which revolved around the money for selection. When questioned by Suman, Sushila proposed the same offer to her who filed a case.
As per the result, both the students Sushila and Sunita did not perform well in the institutes while preparing but topped the main Chandigarh HCS Exam.
