Allen Institute in Sector 34 Chandigarh Caches Fire | 10 Students & 5 Teachers Injured

Chandigarh’s renowned Allen Institute located in Sector 34 caught fire during the Annual function celebration on Sunday. Almost 15 people including 10 students and 5 teachers got injured in the fiery incident took place in Allen Institute, Chandigarh. Although the injured were immediately rushed to the Government Medical College & Hospital in Sector 32 Chandigarh.

As of now, no complaint has been filed by any of the injured against Allen Institute in Sector 34 police station, Chandigarh. That is why the police have not taken any legal action against the Institute and still deciding upon the same, as stated by the SHO of Sector 34 Police Station.

Allen Institute Chandigarh: Details About the Gas Balloon Blast Incident

On Sunday, Allen Institute Chandigarh was celebrating its Annual Function and suddenly 150 gas balloons burst out leaving 15 people injured. It all happened around 5:30 pm when the nitrogen filled balloons were released from the stage and suddenly one of the balloons came in contact with an electric bulb and lead to the explosion at the prestigious Allen Institute in Chandigarh.  Most of the students injured in the incident were ex-students of Allen, Chandigarh and were invited to attend the Annual function.

Although the people over the stage tried to escape from the actual place but the fire was so explosive that it held 15 people with minor burnt. Expert says that the balloons were carrying acetylene that is very much reactive and the same can be seen as a result of fire burst out at Allen, Chandigarh.

With the immediate effect after the fire burst incident in the Allen Institute, the victims were taken to GMCH 32 in Chandigarh with the minor injuries, where doctors announced their condition to be stable. Although no official statement regarding the incident has been made by anyone, even the police are searching for the exact cause of the explosion. Till now, no FIR for the same has been lodged against any person related to the incident at Allen Chandigarh.
