Government colleges in Chandigarh now have a mobile app which is available on Android as well as on iOS. The app will be for students who seek admission to a Chandigarh college as well as for students studying in the college.
iOS & Android App For UT Government Colleges
The students who will be joining the UT government college from the next session will be able to use an iOS and Android application. This app will help you fill your admission form, you can check out the courses in the respective colleges, can read time table of your lectures, scan prospectus and the students will also be able to deposit the fee through these applications.
This mobile phone application for Chandigarh’s government colleges has been designed by SPIC (The Society For The Promotion Of Information Technology In Chandigarh).
This app will update you about the admission process, your course information, availability of seats in a particular course and about your course fee.

How The Mobile App Will Help Students & Teachers
The e-Campus Android and iOS application for the UT government colleges will be launched under RUSA(Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan). The application will have personal details of the students said the state project director of the centrally sponsored scheme for funding higher education institutes.
The teaching staff will also benefit from the Android and iOS app made for UT government colleges. The teachers and the staff members will be able to maintain an account of attendance of the students, lectures and the payments. Communication and admission process will be made easier through the internal messaging module.
To avoid bugs in the app and to keep the app fast, all the information about the colleges will be present on the admission website. The application will be maintained by the higher education department. There will be a centralised admission process in all the six government colleges of Chandigarh. The government colleges in Chandigarh: 2 in sector 11 Chandigarh, one in Sector 42, Sector 46 and Sector 50.
