
Chandigarh gets direct flight connectivity to the Sikh Pilgrimage Hazoor Sahib located in Nanded (Maharashtra). Air India has started a non-stop flight between Chandigarh and Nanded for the convenience of the Sikh pilgrims. After the renovation of the runway of the Chandigarh Airport, many airlines have been starting off domestic flights from the city beautiful.
The first flight of Air India took off to Nanded from Chandigarh on 8th January 2019. Before to the departure, pilgrims performed ardaas at Chandigarh airport. Even the flight received water cannon salute as a mark of respect to the flyers. Know schedule, fare and other details of Chandigarh-Nanded non-stop flight below.
Chandigarh-Nanded Direct Flight: Air India Schedule and Timing
In the last December only, Air India announced a direct flight between Chandigarh and Nanded. As of now, Chandigarh has been directly connected to major cities of India via air connectivity like- Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and many more. Whereas watching the high rate of flyers to Nanded, Air India gave a gift of direct connectivity to the people of city beautiful.
Chandigarh-Nanded Air India flight have a total of 162 seats, whereas 150 are economy seats and 12 are business class seats. As per schedule, Air India’s direct flight in between Chandigarh-Nanded will be functional twice in a week i.e only Tuesday and Wednesday. Whereas the timings of Air India flight number 817 from Chandigarh to Nanded will be 9.10 am to 11.30am. On the other hand, Air India flight number 818 will take off from Nanded at 12.05 pm and reach Chandigarh by 2.20 pm.
Fare and Ticket details of Chandigarh- Nanded Non-Stop Flight
As per the new direct flight to Nanded from Chandigarh, Air India has offered an introductory fare for the flyers. According to Air India’s introductory fare, pilgrims have to spend almost Rs. 10,000 for a one-way trip from Chandigarh to Nanded. Whereas for a round trip in between Chandigarh and Nanded, passengers have to pay a ticket price of Rs. 20000.
Although for the very first flight from Chandigarh to Nanded, Air India sold a total of 60% of flight tickets. Anyways, for sure the new non-stop flight between Chandigarh-Nanded will give relief to the pilgrims planning to visit Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib.
