Chandigarh Rose Festival 2019 Kick Starts in the City | Know the Details of Diverted Routes

Chandigarh Rose Festival for the year 2019 kick-started in the city for 3 long days today. Even the Chandigarh Traffic Police has there own plan to maintain traffic and security for the visitor for 3- long days event. Few routes have been diverted and traffic police have also made few temporary parking lots near Rose Garden, Sector 16.

The 3 days long Rose Fest in Chandigarh for the year 2019 has started today. Traffic Police have been on alert mode to make visitors have a comfortable and secure visit. Know the details of the parking lots and diverted routes in the city for Rose Festival 2019 below.

Chandigarh Rose Festival 2019: Here are the Parking Zone for the Visitors

Chandigarh Traffic Police on Thursday released the parking details and diverted routes during the Rose Festival 2019. Although no visitors will be allowed to park their vehicle in front of Rose Garden during the Chandigarh Rose Fest 2019. Also, Chandigarh Traffic Police has appealed the visitors for Car-pooling to the Rose Fest 2019.

Here are the parking lots available for the visitors of Chandigarh Rose Festival 2019- in front of MC Office towards Hotel Shivalik View, nearby Sector 17 Bus stand, in front of Taj Hotel Parking, Circus Ground, TDI Mall parking area, Sector 17 Post office parking area, Neelam Cinema adjacent parking area, Multi-level parking of Sector 17, Sector 16 Shanti Kunj, Open Ground adjoining Shivalik View Hotel, backside of MC Office, parking area of Sector 9 Madya Marg, adjoining parking area of Sector 10 petrol pump and parking area adjoining boundary wall of GMSH 16.

Diverted Routes of City due to Chandigarh Rose Festival 2019

Along with the designated parking lots, Chandigarh Traffic Police will also close the road stretch from Sector 16/17 to Matka Chowk from 10 Am to 8 Pm during Rose Festival 2019. Even the road stretch from GMSH 16 to Matka Chowk will also be closed on Saturday and Sunday from 10 Am to 8 Pm. Residents are appealed to choose the alternate routes and avoid road from Sector 16/17 lights to Matka Chowk during the mentioned time.

Also, people are advised not to park their vehicle in the no parking zone, as these vehicles will be towed away by the traffic police. Here’s the helpline for towed away vehicle during the Chandigarh Rose Festival 2019.
