Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has been spending over Rs. 75 Lakh on Rose Festival 2019. Also, it has been decided that the visitors this year as well will enjoy the chopper ride likewise last 2 years during Chandigarh Rose Fest. A Gurugram based private company has been hired for the Helicopter ride during the 3 days Rose Fest in Chandigarh for the year 2019.
2 Helicopters will be deployed at the Parade Ground during Chandigarh Rose Festival 2019. Interested visitor for the Helicopter ride will have to get a ticket and they can enjoy a 6-10 minutes air view of the city. Although the take-off and landing of the helicopter will only be operated from Parade Ground at Sector 17.

Last year residents have spent over a total of Rs. 2380 to enjoy the chopper ride during the Rose Festival in Chandigarh.
