Chandigarh to Get a New Civil Dispensary in Sector 52 | MC Plans to Upgrade All Dispensaries of City

This Thursday in Chandigarh, on 5th October 2017, Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament has placed the foundation stone of the first Civil Dispensary in Sector 52. During the event, a word of appreciation towards Municipal Corporation from Mrs. Kher lit up the day. On the occasion of starting the civil dispensary in the rehabilitation colony of Chandigarh, Sector 52, Kirron Kher praised the efforts that MC, Chandigarh was taking to improve the facilities in the city.

In the aid of improving and upgrading the existing infrastructure of Chandigarh, Municipal Corporation has now begun to work on opening up the new civil dispensary in Sector 52. With this dispensary opening, people of the area will be able to get primary health services at their doorsteps.

Chandigarh’s Municipal Corporation to Build new Civil Dispensaries and Upgrade the Old Ones

Along with the new civil dispensary opening up in Sector 52 of Chandigarh, MC is also planning on upgrading the existing ones. On this day, Kirron Kher also inaugurated the three high-mast lights in tin shed colony area of Sector 52, Chandigarh worth Rs. 15 Lakh.

The New Upcoming Sector 52 Civil Dispensary, Chandigarh

On the inauguration event of this new civil dispensary, the chief engineer of the project also shared that the dispensary is going to be built over an area of 0.35 acres at a total expense of Rs. 85 Lakh. Also, as per the engineer, the work of this civil dispensary is targeted to complete over the time span of 1 year. This dispensary is designed to accommodate rooms for doctors, injection room, pharmacist [registration] room, examination rooms, gents and ladies toilets, ANM rooms, store, and Laboratory.

The plans for the dispensary are great and the continuous efforts of improving the facilities in Chandigarh has to be appreciated. Opening up this dispensary in the rehabilitation area, Sector 52 of Chandigarh will definitely change the life of people living there. The ease of medical facilities is very important and this dispensary will entertain that need adequately. Following this development, Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh is also planning to upgrade the facilities in other dispensaries available in Chandigarh. So, Let’s see if the Dispensary will bring a difference in people’s lives or not.
