2 More Commit Suicide in Chandigarh | A 25 yr Old Woman Hangs Herself & A 30 yr Old Consumes Poison

Chandigarh is witnessing a back- to- back incidences of suicides within the tricity that has shaken the administration as well as the health department. Recently, there were two cases of suicide have been reported in Chandigarh and nearby areas.

25 yr old women hang herself in Chandigarh

In a tragic incident, a 25-year-old woman has committed suicide in Chandigarh by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her house. The victim is identified as Neha who is a resident of Chaman Colony, Mauli Jagran. The victim committed suicide when she was all alone in the house. When the victim didn’t come out of her room, her husband went to look for her. On being repeatedly called from outside the room by her husband, Neha did not open the door. It was then, the victim’s husband broke into the room and found her hanging from the ceiling.

As per the police of Chandigarh, the victim, Neha was immediately rushed to the hospital but the doctors declared her brought dead. Police did not find any suicide note by the victim. Neha, the victim is survived by her son and her husband. The autopsy report is yet to come in this come, however, the Police has initiated the investigation for the same.

30yr old consumed poison and committed suicide

Another suicide case near Chandigarh, a 30-year-old man had committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance in his car. The victim took the poison inside his car when he had come to Chandigarh to drop his relative.Sources said the victim, identified as Saurabh Gupta, a resident of Panchkula, took poison in his car in Chandigarh. The victim had come to drop his relative. He informed his cousin before taking the extreme step. The victim was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, where he later died. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

The victim is identified as Saurabh Gupta who hailed from Panchkula. Before consuming the poison, the victim had called his cousin and informed that he is ending his life. Though the family of the victim, rushed him to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, he later succumbed to the intake of excess poison. The suicide case has been registered and the police have started the probe.
