Dexter, the famous cartoon character associated with Cartoon Network TV Channel was in Chandigarh at Elante Mall and kids just went crazy to see him. A kids carnival was organized at Elante in association with Cartoon Network and it proved to be an awesome start to summer vacations for children.
Terming it as a remember able moment, children got a chance to meet their favorite toon star Dexter. A special meet and greet session was organized where children posed and clicked selfies with their favorite cartoon character Dexter. The whole layout for the event was shown as a cartoon island to attract and delight kids.
Dexter – Who & What:
For those of us who grew up watching Mogli, Tin-Tin, Uncle Scruge, etc it is essential for us to tell you that Dexter is a character of Cartoon Network’s most successful series, Dexter’s Laboratory. It is an American comic science fiction animated television series. This series has got high ratings and is one of the most popular cartoon series among children not just in US or India but across the globe.
Dexter at Elante, Chandigarh
The kids carnival at Elante was held for nine days starting from 4th June till 12th June. This was truly a gala time for kids who simply love cartoons. Along with having a fun, kids got to learn a lot of things. Even parents were happy to let their kids meet their favorite cartoon character.
Apart from the appearance of Dexter at Elante Mall in Chandigarh, various other activities like robotics, aero- modelling, fabric painting and astronomy were also organized during the kids carnival. There were different island like fishing island, art island, comic books island, mechanics island and mango island. Even environment day was celebrated in an interesting manner where a painting competition was held.
Although, Dexter at Chandigarh was a normal human being like me and you who just wore a Dexter costume. But it made the kids talking – “Yaar Chandigarh mein Dexter aaya hua hai”.
